Well, I seem to have two followers. Granted, they're two people I already know, BUT THAT'S OKAY. It's still two followers, which means I'm not a total failure. Not a total one, at least.
So, it's Friday today and I'm positively dreading going back to school. I hope I can at least sleep the night before. I have a little insomnia issue sometimes.
Hm. Nothing too interesting to discusss at this moment. I've still got writer's block, and would adore a beta reader. But enough of my shameless advertising.
I might go to the mall today, which is exciting. I rarely go to the mall. I know, what kind of human am I? Well, I'm the kind human who sits on her duff eating Hershey's Kisses, watching Emo Phillips on youtube and squinting at story reviews past enormous cat's eye glasses. Does that answer your question? Or did you not even ask one? Well, I answered someone's question so that is that.
Anyway, I'm in desperate need of clothing because all my clothing is quite ugly, so I was thinking maybe I could stop by Hot Topic and get this blue jacket I saw, maybe pick up a WATCHMEN shirt (Rorshach, of course), and maybe get some jeans... somewhere. Baby Gap, maybe, because I'm incredibly short.
Oh, wait. Didn't the Gap go out of business?
You know, my mother always puts "the" in front of everything. The Wall-Mart. The Target. The Stop 'N Shop. I picked it up, as well. See? Maybe while I'm at the mall I can get something from the Panda Express, go to the Walden Books, and then the JC Penney. It's just a mouthful of articles.
The Academy Is... is my guilty pleasure, although I wish their name wasn't so strange and long. When I talk about them I always want to say, "The Academy Isssssss...." and leave a pause behind, as if the "is" is fading away. Why do they make that name like that? To make concerts more easy, I assume.
"The Academy Is.... here?"
"The Academy Is... playing, right?"
Or maybe just to make them harder. "The Academy Is... is here, right?" "Is The Academy Is... going to be playing, or is The Academy Is... in New York tonight?"
Yeesh. I'm exhausted just typing that. Then again, I'm exhausted after walking down the stairs. No, I'm not obese, I'm just very lazy.
Is it weird that I like The Andrews Sisters? They're from the forties. I think they're charming. And at least they have a normal band name.
Well, now I'm babbling, which gets annoying to read, so I'll spare you, O fair readers. Maybe I'll type up a chronicle of my mall adventures.
Cheers.
